For this reason, several famous personalities such as Nikhil Kamath, Viswanathan Anand, Aamir Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Yuzvendra Chahal and Riteish Deshmukh participated in the event to help raise these funds.

Now, although all the celebrities lost to Viswanathan Anand, chess grandmaster and former world chess champion, Nikhil Kamath, co-founder and CIO of Zerodha surprised everyone with his victory against the famous world champion. It was also awarded 99% accuracy!

The chess player community took this loss with a pinch of salt and popular international chess YouTuber Agadmator conducted a post-match analysis that showed Nikhil had violated the ‘Fair Play’ policy. In a video he released on his channel later, you can see how.

Post this, Nikhil’s chess.com game account was also closed. Later, he tweeted an apology and said that he got help from some people and computers to analyze the game.

This news soon went viral and everyone joined the discussion. With famous personalities commenting on the situation, the matter escalated very quickly and soon caught up with everyone.

Viswanathan Anand and his wife finally made a statement. The chess legend tweeted in response to Nikhil’s tweet and concluded by saying, “I just played the position on the board and expected the same from everyone.”
