Have you ever lost a valuable item in a taxi, car, or rickshaw? It may have happened to you multiple times and in most cases your items are never returned to you. Call it greed or just a lack of interest to go the extra mile, most public vehicle drivers don’t show honesty in returning valuables like gadgets, jewelry, and money to passengers. However, this car driver from Bhubaneswar makes you realize that there is still some hope for the world.

Jaganath Patra is associated with Ola Cabs as a car driver. His recent show of honesty has won the heart of the internet through a post shared by his passenger, Sushanta Sahoo, whose wallet and mobile phone were returned to her by Patra.

Sahoo took to Twitter to share her experience and express her gratitude. In addition to returning her wallet, Patra refused to accept additional money as a reward for returning Sahoo’s prized belongings. A man with a golden heart indeed!

This tweet has already received over 5000 likes!

Despite her refusal, Sahoo donated some money to Patra through Google Pay as a token of her appreciation. This is really a great gesture in today’s times, and Sahoo went further through another tweet asking his followers to do the same if they encounter a similar situation. In fact, users were generous enough to ask for Jagannath’s GPay number and send him cash to help him with his finances.

Although Jagannath did not ask for money, it is a pleasure to see more and more people show their appreciation for the work community.

Users were definitely proud of Jagganath, and so were we!

It was also fascinating to see how this incident reached the realm of Ola Support on Twitter. Sahoo shared his booking ID and made sure Ola was also aware of this gem of a person who works at his company. The brand thanked Sahoo for his comments and appreciated taking the time to clarify this incident.

Would you have done the same?
