Don’t have cash on hand and want to buy the essentials? Digital payments app Freecharge just launched its ‘Pay Later’ service this week, which allows you to pay your installments at a later date for small ticket purchases. All of these purchases are posted in a month after which you have the option to pay as feasible at the end of the month.
CEO Siddharth Mehta mentioned how this move allows its users to interact more with the app. A credit limit is assigned to each customer and increases based on usage history and how quickly fees are paid.
Pay Later will be useful for users to use Freecharge, as well as for more than 10,000 trading platforms. It’s a great move for those who want to pay their electric bills on time, order food, pay their mobile phone bills, and more.
The function will not even ask you to save your card details. A one-click procedure has been enabled for customers to pay fees without saving their mobile OTP or card details in the app. It will be a great way to promote hassle-free payments.
