Chanchlani started making short videos on Youtube In 2014, today he is the second YouTuber with the most subscribers and has recently surpassed 23 million subscribers on the platform. In a very short time, the social media star has achieved immense success.
Ashish was born on December 8, 1993 in Mumbai to Anil Chanchlani and Deepa Chanchlani, owners of a multiplex cinema in the city. He became a family entertainer and industry buff. But due to the concern of his parents, he had to continue his studies.
If life had taken a different turn for the Youtuber, today he would have been pursuing something in the engineering field. But Ashish had different plans from the beginning. Being a huge fan of Akshay Kumar, Chanchlani always wanted to be an actor.
How it all started?
Initially, he started making fun, easy-to-identify short videos for fun. But after receiving many positive responses on Instagram, he decided to compile them and upload them to YouTube.
His first YouTube video was titled ‘How To Annoy People Who Say’ Tu Mere Baap Ko Janta Nahi Hai ‘. Soon he started making and posting videos on YouTube mainly.
Once his ‘Desi Vines’ started going viral, he gradually started to gain a huge following on YouTube.

In 2018, Chanchlani received the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival award for ‘Best Digital Influencer’.
