Last year, the government of India banned many applications in the Indian application store that were of Chinese origin. The government banned more than 50 apps from various categories, including the very popular PUBG Mobile India and TikTok.

While TikTok is owned and operated by a China-based company, PUBG, it nonetheless has origins in South Korea. The app was still among those that were banned.

Why? The reason that PUBG Mobile India was banned is due to the presence of the Chinese entity Tencent. When the ban was implemented, Tencent was removed as one of the entities and PUBG Mobile worked hard to ensure there was no Chinese connection to the app, DNA India reported.

Since the ban was announced, many online gamers in the country have been disappointed and even upset with the news. The app was banned in September last year and players have been eagerly awaiting its return. While there has been a lot of revival news from the app, there seems to be some truth to recent events.

PUBG Mobile India had recently uploaded four new trailers on its YouTube channel, sparking the game’s return to India. But to everyone’s surprise, the company later deleted them.

The only video available on the official YouTube page of the application is the one from 5 months ago. This video also showed the arrival of PUBG Mobile in India. Three young men can be seen sitting staring at the boredom of the day and missing out on the much-loved ‘Chicken Dinner’.

It is still a mystery whether the app will return to Indian players or not. However, these latest (removed) ads have definitely sparked something among his fans. People have returned to talking about the app on social media. In fact, many have even started keeping an eye on PUBG India’s official identifiers in hopes of getting news.
